As a HubSpot Solutions Partner, it’s no surprise that we're pretty gung-ho about HubSpot over here at LAIRE. If you're all in on inbound marketing and sales, it’s one of the best marketing automation tools out there.

With HubSpot, all your everyday marketing and sales tasks become a breeze, and reporting gets simplified. Plus, you can kiss goodbye to juggling multiple platforms for website management, social media scheduling, emails, workflows, and blog hosting.

But we also understand that the platform might not be everyone's cup of tea — and it’s an investment that shouldn't be taken lightly.

So, what does HubSpot cost? It's all about finding the perfect match for your marketing and sales automation requirements.

Breaking Down HubSpot Costs

Before we talk about the cost of HubSpot, it’s important to note that the platform has various hubs, each with its own set of tools and prices. You can pick and choose which hubs you want, depending on your business and the features you need.

The prices we list below are in effect as of June 18, 2024, but HubSpot is known to shake things up from time to time. For the latest information, visit HubSpot’s pricing page.

HubSpot Marketing Cost

HubSpot Marketing Hub Monthly Cost: Free to $3,600

The HubSpot monthly cost is the highest for the marketing side of things, but there is a good reason for that. Here is a breakdown of the tiers in this hub from most to least expensive:

  • Enterprise: This tier includes 10,000 marketing contacts at a rate of $3,600 per month, plus $100 per month for each additional 10,000 marketing contacts.
  • Professional: This tier includes 2,000 marketing contacts at a rate of $890 per month.
  • Starter: If you don’t have more than 1,000 marketing contacts currently, you can use the starter tier, which includes 1,000 marketing contacts at a rate of $20 per month.
  • Free: This tier doesn’t include any marketing contacts, but it's your golden ticket to dive into the HubSpot platform and see if it's a good match for you and your business.

All tiers include an unlimited number of non-marketing contacts.

How to Choose the Right HubSpot Marketing Hub Tier

While there are far more features in the higher tiers, with the free Marketing Hub subscription, you’ll have access to the following tools:

  • Forms
  • Email marketing
  • Ad management
  • Landing pages
  • Shared inbox
  • List segmentation
  • Team email
  • Live chat
  • Basic bots
  • Mobile optimization
  • Reporting dashboard
  • Messenger integration
  • Custom properties
  • HubSpot mobile app
  • Form follow-up emails
  • Marketing events object
  • Email reply tracking
  • Email health reporting
  • Ad retargeting
  • Payments (U.S. only)

If you’re not purchasing based on contacts but on needed features, the Enterprise plan includes the tools listed above, plus custom behavioral events, multi-touch revenue attribution, predictive lead scoring, and more.

HubSpot Sales Cost

HubSpot Sales Hub Monthly Cost: Free to $1,500

The sales side of HubSpot may be a smaller investment than the marketing tools depending on the size of your sales team. Here is the tier breakdown:

  • Enterprise: With this tier, 10 users are covered at a rate of $1,500 per month, plus $150 per month for each additional user.
  • Professional: Here, five users are covered at a rate of $450 per month.
  • Starter: If you don't want to commit to using HubSpot's Sales Hub for your whole team, you can use the Starter plan, which includes two users for $45 per month (plus $23 for each additional user) and fewer features.
  • Free: Just like in the marketing platform, you won't have any contacts at your disposal, but you do get the green light to explore the platform and get a feel for it.

It’s important to note that the Starter and Professional plans are cheaper when purchasing annually rather than monthly. This is definitely something to think about if you’re weighing your options and the costs associated.

Each paid plan includes storage for up to 15 million overall contacts, 1-on-1 technical support, and unlimited free users. While free users have limitations, they are still able to operate within the Sales Hub using the following tools:

  • Live chat

  • Team email
  • Quotes
  • Calling
  • Email scheduling
  • Email tracking and notifications
  • Shared inbox
  • Email templates
  • Canned snippets
  • Documents
  • Meeting scheduling

How to Choose the Right Service Hub Tier

At HubSpot, the customer experience is paramount. The Service Hub delivers a help desk with ticketing, allowing you to spend less time on data entry and more time managing your customer relationships.

The Service Hub also provides a Knowledge Base platform where you can host frequently asked questions, videos, documentation, and articles designed to answer common questions and give information on processes. The ability to share relevant problem-solving information can ultimately reduce the number of support requests you receive.

Additionally, the Live Chat functionality included in the Service Hub allows you to help customers on your website in real-time, directing them to the appropriate resources to solve their issues and answer their questions.

Offering this feature on your site creates a stronger relationship with your customers, giving them the confidence that your service teams are in place and ready to help them with their questions and concerns.

Lastly, through the Service Hub, you gain valuable access to HubSpot’s customer relationship management (CRM) platform, custom reporting dashboards, and automated customer service capabilities.

When you opt for the Enterprise level, you’ll benefit from features like conversation intelligence, field-level permissions, and custom objects.

HubSpot Operations Cost
